This is how I have started describing my style. I think by "business" I actually mean classic, but I enjoy the alliteration. Alliteration and puns are some of my favorite things. Anyway, I like that this outfit features a little bit of all the elements of my style. I'm happiest with my sartorial choices when my outfit makes me feel like me.

I've worn this outfit a few times now and I have to say, I'm really diggin it. Personally, I love a high-low hem. I know some people don't like to wear the same thing twice, but if I really love an outfit, I will wear it over and over again. To me that makes a lot more sense. Yes, it's been seen before, but if it looks great then what's wrong with that? That's my personal style philosophy. I bought this dress because I thought it would be good for LA, I can wear it on it's own in the summer, or with leggings in the cooler months. And with shorts on windy days, because I think you can aaaaalmost see my undies in a few of these photos. Sometimes wind is your friend, and sometimes it's your foe.

To Market To Market

Since I work on Sundays, my mom and I decided to have a pre-Mother's Day on Saturday. What better place to have some bonding time with your mom than the farmers market? I normally don't get anything at the market when we go, but this week I happened to need groceries so I picked up a bunch of stuff. I had never really bought groceries at the farmer's market before because I had always assumed that everything would be expensive, but apparently I made a huge mistake. I got some amazing apples for 50 cents a pound! So cheap! I don't know what I was thinking before, but the farmers market is going to be my new produce destination. I also bought a shampoo bar which I am really looking forward to trying. I'm always on the look out for natural products that actually work.
