Keep It Simple

Top and Belt: American Apparel, Pants: Garage, Shoes: Urban Planet
I wore this outfit to work a few days ago. I didn't realize it at the time, but once I looked at these photos it occurred to me that it is incredibly similar to an outfit that I wore 2 weeks ago, and yet not that similar at the same time. I think that's what I really love about fashion. You can choose the same staple items to wear again and again, but by switching up small things like shoes and other accessories the outfit has a totally different feel. That's the mind set that I try to keep when shopping, I try to seek out pieces that I know I can wear multiple times without feeling like I'm always wearing the same thing. That's essentially what my personal style comes down to. Classic pieces that I can wear over and over and over and not get sick of.

  5. You're right - the two look totally different! Nice job on changing it up. I'm all about wearing pieces several times. Otherwise, I feel like I wasted my money!
